Part 1 of this series focused on how to help fig trees wake up from dormancy and put on leaves and new green growth as quickly as possible. Part 2 focused on how to fertilize figs in the mid-season, which is the time after the fruit tree has broken dormancy and put on its first sets of mature leaves, but before the tree starts growing baby figs.
This video discusses:
1. The importance of phosphorous in fertilizer for fig trees.
2. How and when to transition your fertilizer routine to a high phosphorus regimen and maximize fruit production.
3. How to apply the fertilizers to your and how often they should be applied.
This covers both growing fig trees in ground and fig trees in containers.
