In this video, I show you how to espalier fruit trees with a double cordon trellis system. I show you how to build a trellis, how to trellis fruit trees in espalier form, tying the branches, and tipping fruit trees after tying.

Trellising fruit trees in espalier form is one of the most beautiful and efficient ways for growing fruit trees. Growing and pruning fruit trees espalier allows for high density gardening in the most attractive way. In this video, I show you a complete step-by-step guide on how to grow espalier. This is the best way I've found to grow high density fruit trees.

While I am using fig trees in this video, these techniques can be used to espalier any fruit tree variety – not just figs.
