In this article I am going to discuss the basics of vegetable gardening. In fact, this is the only kind of gardening that I do. I have tried others like flower gardening and fruit gardening but it never really worked for me. However, I have had great success with vegetable gardening. The reason I say this is because I can grow almost anything in my garden.

Now, before you go out and start planting your vegetables, make sure you have a few things that you need to know about vegetable gardening. First off, you will need to decide what type of soil you are going to use. If you live in an area where there is clay soil, then you will want to use composted manure or composted horse manure. If you live in an urban area, then you may not be able to use horse manure because you will be using human waste as well. You will also need to find out if your local city has a composting program. If they do, then you can take your garbage to the site and they will compost it for you.

Next you will need to find out how much sunlight your garden will get. It will depend on the time of year and the position of the sun. You will need to have at least six hours of direct sunlight each day. This means that you will have to plant your garden early in the morning or late in the evening. Remember that most people don’t like to work in the morning, so you might have to do some planning ahead of time.

If you live in a place that gets a lot of rain, then you will want to put down a layer of gravel or sand. This will help the water run off instead of collecting and pooling. This will also prevent the soil from being washed away.

The last thing that you will need to do is to figure out how much fertilizer you are going to need. There are many different types of fertilizers that you can use, so it is up to you which one you choose. Make sure that you follow the directions on the package carefully. Some fertilizers are very harmful to plants.

Once you have all of these things figured out, you can get started. All you have to do is dig a hole and put in your seed. Then you can cover it with dirt and put down a layer of mulch. Keep doing this until you have filled your garden with plants. Be careful when you are planting your vegetables. Some vegetables should be planted closer together than others. For example, carrots should be planted close together, while tomatoes should be spaced further apart.
