Video Description

(SEE TABLE OF CONTENTS BELOW) This video is the second video in a three-part series on how to optimize fertilizing fig trees for maximum fruit set, overall health and vigor.

Part 1 of this series focused on how to help fig trees wake up from dormancy and put on leaves and new green growth as quickly as possible. This video, Part 2, focuses on how to fertilize fig trees in the mid-season, which is the time after the fig tree has broken dormancy and put on its first sets of mature leaves, but before the tree starts growing baby figs.

This video discusses:

1. How to fertilize your fig trees in mid-spring.

2. Why you should transition your fertilizer routine from a high nitrogen regimen in early spring to a balanced N-P-K regimen mid-spring..

3. How to properly time the transition for optimal growth.

This is a detailed video and quite specific, and I have included a Table of Contents to assist in navigating the information. If you have any questions, please ask them in the Comments section and I will do my best to respond.
